Hi Friend,

I’m so happy you stopped by my little corner of the internet.

Lately, I’ve been feeling a nudge to slow down and enjoy life for all that it has to offer. After years of moving fast and juggling way too many things, I realized it was time to hit pauzz. Ever since the initial sensation to slow down came to me, I began seeing it everywhere—movies, magazines, social media posts. The idea became something I couldn’t escape. That’s the short story behind The Pauzz.

While the idea for The Pauzz stemmed from the idea of slowing down, somewhere along the way it became much more than just taking a moment to breathe between work and home responsibilities. It became an idea of all the things that I once enjoyed for countless hours in a single sitting that I no longer let myself take time for anymore. I realized that it’s not so much that I don’t have time for these things, but I have allowed everything else to become a higher priority. Ultimately, I realize how important it is to make time for things that bring you joy.

This is my public journey on creating joy in the little moments and falling back in love with my life. I want to share this experience with you in hopes that it inspires you to stop waiting on the weekends to roll around. As this blog develops, you’ll start seeing me share things like simple routines that bring peace back into my mornings, attempting to reduce my digital footprint, and finding the beauty in life again.

My goal is for this blog to be a place you come to in place of endlessly scrolling through social media. I hope it feels like meeting your best friend in a coffee shop or a walk in the crisp fall air. I want you to know there will always be a place for you here to share your thoughts, and even challenge some of mine.  So instead of rushing off to your next destination, here is your official invitation to linger. Come, stay a while.
